Tea TibetIn general, it can be stated that tea plays an important role with meditation. The Tibetan tea culture, no tea leafs are used, but so called Tea bricks, cut and pressed tea, which is pegged out as needed, whereas the tea has more flavour the nearer it is to the centre.

Mainly the so called "butter tea" is drunk in Tibet. Salt and butter are added to the tea. This tea is drunk several times a day. The butter tea has not only a traditional but also a nutritional value, as it supports digestion and supplies the body with essential salts.
